About: I am new to BIF, and pretty new to Rhode Island. As of June 2007, I joined Brown's Office of VP of Research as the Director of Research Initiatives. My mission is to service research by facilitating creativity across Brown campus. I do this by creating interdisciplinary and interinstitutional dialogue, as well as trying to match make with funders, specifically industry. I came from Vermont most recently, but Charlottesville, Va before that and Seattle, WA and Chicago, IL before that. I am originally from Kentucky. I'm sure I'll find someone I know in a past life at the summit.
