About: Gina Macdonald is President of Morgan Group LLC, a wealth management and strategic consulting firm that she co-founded and has headed since 1997.

She has run divisions for large companies, and was CEO for three smaller companies for which she raised capital, built management teams and developed new products.

During 2004 to 2006, she served as CEO of EstateWorks, a software company providing services to the legal, financial services and family office industries where she spearheaded the development of new products and a >500% increase in sales. Significant customers include Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and a number of Top 100 law firms.

From 2000 to 2001, she served as Chairman and CEO of geoVue, a business intelligence company providing market optimization software to retailers such as Talbots, Kay Jewelers and Dunkin’ Brands, as well as banks and investment firms, such as Fidelity. She took a stalled company into new strategic products (to optimize direct marketing, advertising and market expansion), raised their first round of venture financing and built a management team and structure.

Ms. Macdonald majored in history at Indiana University. She is a board member and member of the Loan and Compensation Committees of First Trade Union Bank. She is also a board member of Cambridge Viscosity, a global leader in fluid viscosity measurement. She is an Advisory Board member of Spectrum Financial, the Pennsylvania-based real estate investment fund and a member of the International Women’s Forum.
