Adrian Chernoff
About: Adrian is a creative catalyst and a prolific inventor. He has fueled innovation at companies around the world on projects ranging from consumer goods, to wireless technology, to underwater transport. Among his credits: Adrian has designed theme park rides at Walt Disney Imagineering, worked as a robotics engineer at NASA, and was the Chief Program Architect on the Reinvention of the Automobile program at General Motors.
At General Motors his work earned him the title of Master Inventor and he was awarded the coveted Chairman’s Honors Award for leading GM’s pioneering efforts in creating and developing the world’s first ever skateboard car—a zero-emission, hydrogen-fueled car propelled by wheel hub motors and electronic controls.
He has also managed and overseen innovation and exploration projects at vehicle design studio Stile Bertone in Italy, at product design and branding development firm Design Continuum in Boston, and at technology development house Applied Minds in Los Angeles.
Adrian has 66 confirmed patents and another 50 pending. His innovations range from the highly technical to deceptively simple. Adrian has spoken widely on the subject of automobile innovation at venues such as the Paris Auto Show, the North American International Auto Shows, and the TED conferences.
Currently Adrian is the Chief Creative Officer at Ideation Genesis, an idea generation and development firm. His inventive mind, creativity, and commercial acumen transform insights into opportunities—across categories and disciplines, from notions to realities, and inspirations to inventions.
Adrian has an MBA, a masters in manufacturing engineering, and a bachelors in mechanical engineering.
