About: I am an architect by training, and a designer in practice.
In 2005 I co-founded LOCAL to work on projects that help sustain local communities. Since then we have expanded our practice from architecture to community & economic development, energy, water and strategy. Read more about LOCAL.
I have also been teaching the Innovation Studio at RISD since 1999. The studio brings together students from across the University to work on large scale infrastructure and environmental problems. Hear more about the studio.
